Superior worked directly with the New England Patriots organization to develop and produce the outer presentation box containing players’ 2019 Super Bowl rings, to be handed out at the ring ceremony. These high-end, luxury boxes were personalized for each individual player on the roster ensuring durability and quality- providing the players a keepsake that will last a lifetime.

Otterbox worked closely with our team of structural engineers to produce folding carton packaging for screen protectors. Produced in large lots, this packaging had to be developed for a number of different sizes and styles of screen protectors, with phone specs released late in the packaging development process. Superior produced these large runs quickly and efficiently to keep up with the cyclical cycle of phone releases as 75% of sales for screen protectors occur during the first month of a phone’s release.

Superior partnered with a local marketing company to create a dental office corrugated display, small enough to fit on the top of the receptionist’s desk. The display looked and functioned similarly to a bathroom medicine cabinet; featuring hinged doors with magnet closures and two integral shelves to hold toothbrushes and toothpaste. Left and right flanking pockets were also added to display additional literature and important pamphlets.

Superior worked closely with a print vendor to create an NFL team’s luxury box suite tickets. This turned edge, magnet enclosed rigid box contained 13 game tickets, parking passes, food menus and media guides. Each box was personalized with the suite owner’s name and featured high gloss spot UV treatments on both the Super Bowl trophies and the upcoming season schedule.

Superior worked closely with Barstool Sports to develop a high-end cookbook to their exact specifications. We then integrated our network with Barstool Sports storefront- providing their end users with pertinent delivery information and order status updates. This was all developed rapidly in order to begin fulfilling orders during the busy holiday season.

One of North America’s largest display retailers operates its own print facility; however, ran into capacity issues and was unable to meet order demand. This retailer reached out to Superior to utilize our printing capabilities and capacity. Our technology team was able to connect to their storefront via our API, facilitating the connection and handshake between their storefront and our systems. Superior was able to go live with a fully automated ordering system within 48 hours- where the retailer received all tracking and order information via an integrated custom shipping account.

Facing declining ad revenue, Tasty- a division of Buzzfeed- sought tangible products to monetize their audience. They wanted to create a customizable cookbook for Black Friday, leaving Superior 30 days to develop a unique solution. Superior utilized our structural design and programmatic processes in collaboration with Tasty to develop a ‘mass personalization’ program complete with packaging and shipping solutions. Superior was able to beat the Black Friday deadline with personalized cookbooks where customers selected 7 (of 20 possible) meal choices, the algorithm which was collaboratively developed then selected 50 recipes (of 120 total)- leading to 15 trillion possible options. Generating over $1 million in sales during the first month of launch.

Superior assisted the publisher of Where the Crawdads Sing, a New York Times bestseller for 32 consecutive weeks, with the manufacturing and distribution of their novel. Superior first assisted the publisher in identifying the correct binding style for this project, followed by the manufacturing of the book, its covers and dust jackets. Due to the high demand generated by its bestseller status, the publishers current printer could not keep up with demand due to their limited capacity. Superior then stepped in producing flawless books meeting their tight deadlines, crucial during the busy 4th quarter.
